Active Meditation

Active meditation or affirming what you want can include a mantra repeated over and over, such as Om, Love or Joy and it can include chanting. Just choose a word or phrase that feels right. There are no right or wrongs, only guidelines, so don’t get caught up in, am I doing this right, because if it feels good, it is good and I promise you, meditation will positively change your life and help you create the reality you want.

I’ve found the following a nice active visualization: Begin with the breath, but instead of hollowing out to no thought, visualize what you want in great detail. See it, feel it and believe it. Always start with deep breaths in… and out… see a movie screen in front of you. It is split in two. On the left side you see the situation as it is but on the right it is as you want it. See the ideal image on the right pushing the negative image out of the picture so that you are only left with the positive image.
